A leading consultancy in London is seeking a Client Director to lead and manage client accounts, ensuring profitability and satisfaction. The role demands strong leadership skills, with experience in consultancy and the public sector. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in driving engagement and collaborating with technical teams.
This role is a permanent position.
Clearance: DV/SC
Location:2 days in London plus 3 days at home (Once a month there’d be a trip to Scotland x 1-2 days.)
Essential
Must have consultancy experience.
• A leader of people, able to provide clear direction, empower, motivate, and develop employees to be purpose driven.
• Confident leading meaningful conversations with customers, engineers and project teams;
• Flexible in leadership approach to suit clients, teams and projects;
• Strong business acumen and commercial understanding; proficient sales management;
• A high level of written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, conflict resolution and influencing skills;
• Understanding of technological challenges and technical stacks
• Confident with rapid change, working in an agile environment;
Desirable
• Experience working within the public sector, including defence, law enforcement / national security industry exposure;
• 4 years+ experience working as a Customer Engagement Lead and / or within a technical advisory or leadership role;
• Experience and / or interest working closely alongside technical teams e.g. data engineering, cloud, architecture, security.
Overview
As part of our clients commitment to their client success, the Client Director provides leadership and direction for their client account(s). They own the Profit & Loss (P&L) and set the overall strategy for their account(s), working closely with the client to understand current and future needs. They spot opportunities for ongoing growth and – where it makes sense for both them and the client – pursue them. They are accountable for the success of their account(s), with a strong focus on client satisfaction. They direct and lead the personnel working on their account(s), overseeing collaboration and seeking expertise as required to ensure the successful delivery of products and services.
