We’re looking for an organised and detail-oriented Client Data Coordinator to join our Investment Research team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining our global fund manager database – gathering and processing data through research and direct contact with asset management firms. Acting as the main point of contact between our clients and internal teams, you’ll help ensure we have the right data at the right time to support our content, events, and analytics. This is the ideal role for someone who enjoys building relationships and ensuring complex processes run smoothly.
What you’ll be doing:
-Act as a reliable point of contact for both internal teams and external clients, responding promptly to queries and providing accurate, custom datasets as needed.
-Prepare and maintain reports, charts, and spreadsheets to keep stakeholders informed and engaged with up-to-date information.
-Ensure our records, spreadsheets, and reports are accurate, up to date, and aligned with monthly coverage targets, helping maintain high data quality across the board.
-Gather fund manager information from online sources, collaboration with internal teams, and direct client communication to grow, maintain and improve the quality of Citywire’s investment research database.
-Build your expertise in the asset management industry by learning about sectors, asset classes, companies, and individual fund managers, including their career history and performance.
-Support the team by pitching in on projects and admin tasks, helping colleagues meet deadlines and deliver excellent service.
What we’re looking for:
-Strong Communication Skills: Clear and effective verbal and written communication, able to engage confidently with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders at all levels, and identify solutions based on their input.
-Organisational Skills: Able to manage multiple workflows and adapt to shifting priorities independently, while consistently meeting deadlines.
-Attention to Detail & Target-Driven: Methodical and precise in handling data, focused on achieving coverage targets, and adept at spotting inconsistencies and patterns in records.
-Analytical Mindset: Comfortable working with large datasets and interpreting their relevance to support informed decision-making.
-Microsoft Office Proficiency: Strong skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
-Industry Knowledge: Some familiarity with the asset management sector or a keen willingness to learn.
-Language Skills: Fluency or business-level proficiency in Spanish or Italian.
