Job summary

Citi Belfast is seeking an experienced Marketing Program Management professional to govern and oversee automation initiatives, embedding AI tools where appropriate. You will support delivery across a matrix of projects, sponsor engagement, and risk management to help achieve business benefits.

The role requires strong analytics, reporting, and stakeholder management skills, with a hybrid work arrangement and a competitive salary package in the UK market.

Qualifications

• Extensive governance, risk management or program oversight experience in financial services.
• Proven proficiency with Citi’s data structures, control frameworks and reporting tools.
• Experience with Investment Request, iCAPS and PTS for tracking and monitoring.
• Strong analytical skills to design KPIs and KRIs and actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Support governance and tracking of automation programs including AI tool embedding.
• Assist delivery management of projects and strategic initiatives with data accuracy and deadlines.
• Provide guidance to sponsors/leads for successful delivery of deliverables.
• Offer senior oversight for in-flight process optimization projects and ensure business benefits.
• Identify and resolve roadblocks; manage complex dependencies; enable cross-functional collaboration.
• Establish and manage a risk management framework; escalate as needed.
• Develop high-quality presentation materials for senior management on status, milestones, risks, performance.
• Design, track and report KPIs and KRIs; manage risks and issues.
• Collaborate across pillars/functions to drive automation agenda.
• Utilize Citi data structures and reporting tools for insightful analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Management and Tracking:
  • Support the management and tracking of a diverse portfolio of automation programs, including process simplification & automation, and the strategic embedding of AI tools.
• Program and Delivery Management:
  • Support the management and tracking of a diverse portfolio of Projects and Strategic Initiatives, including process simplification & control automation.
  • Support initiative sponsors/leads by providing guidance and support for successful delivery of deliverables.
  • Provide senior oversight for a portfolio of in-flight process optimization projects, ensuring they remain on track to meet committed deadlines and deliver expected business benefits.
  • Proactively identify and resolve roadblocks, manage complex dependencies, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration to accelerate project delivery and ensure progress against targets.
  • Establish and manage a robust risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and issues related to process change and project execution, escalating to senior leadership as required.
  • Develop and produce high-quality presentation materials for senior management to report on program status, milestones, risks, and performance.
• Performance and Risk Management:
  • Design, track, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and risk profile of the automation program.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks and issues associated with automation projects, ensuring timely escalation and mitigation.
• Stakeholder Management and Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively across various pillars and functions within the Client Organisation to gather updates, ensure data accuracy, and drive the automation agenda.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Client, Central teams, and the Business to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Data and Systems Proficiency:
  • Utilize a deep understanding of Citi’s internal data structures and reporting tools to provide insightful analysis and reporting.
  • Maintain proficiency with key internal systems and processes, including controls data repositories, the Investment Request process, iCAPS, and the Project Tracking System (PTS) for accurate monitoring and reporting.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills

Required:

• Extensive experience in a governance, risk management, or program oversight role within the financial services industry.
• Demonstrable proficiency with Citi’s internal data structures, control frameworks, and reporting tools.
• Proven experience with the Investment Request process, iCAPS, and Project Tracking System (PTS) for tracking and monitoring.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to design and implement effective KPIs and KRIs.
• Experience leveraging AI, data analytics, and visualization tools to streamline reporting and generate actionable insights.
• Proficiency in creating high-impact PowerPoint presentations for senior executive audiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a complex, matrixed organisation and build collaborative relationships.
• Strong project and program management skills with a track record of delivering complex initiatives.
