Job Introduction

As a Client Consultant, you are an essential part of a team that delivers the extraordinary to our customers. You will be fully knowledgeable about all aspects of the store, including the latest events and services that only Selfridges can offer. Based in your department, you will create memorable experiences by understanding reasons to visit for our customers, deepening relationships, and growing your client book while maintaining high retail standards.

Responsibilities
  1. Create the extraordinary by identifying and connecting with potential clients in your department, assessing and catering to their needs in the moment.
  2. Work as part of a team focused on creating a memorable customer experience, including selling, replenishing stock, cashing up, organizing rails, hosting, and ensuring accurate data capture at POS.
  3. Dedicate time to building a client base and nurturing long-term relationships through personalized updates based on preferences and interests, focusing on driving OB brands and key products.
  4. Elevate customer experiences by providing seamless connections to other store departments and brand partners.
  5. Manage customer feedback and use it to continually improve service, sales, and retail standards.
  6. Stay ahead of trends by expanding product knowledge and understanding of competitors.
  7. Follow health, safety, and security procedures and actively prevent stock loss.
Candidate Profile
  1. Great communicator, able to adapt style and personalize communication based on customer needs.
  2. Sales and service expert, acting as a personal concierge to clients.
  3. Well-informed about products, store events, and services.
  4. Connected across the shop floor, knowing when to involve colleagues for additional expertise.

  6. Tech-savvy, proficient with clienteling tools and omni-channel approaches.
