Trial Balance Consulting Ltd. in Torquay seeks a skilled bookkeeper/management accountant to partner with a diverse group of SMEs, delivering accurate accounts in a timely and efficient way.

You will handle bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounting while advising clients on systems, training, and best practice. The role offers flexible working arrangements and strong development opportunities.

Formación

• Strong bookkeeping and management accounting experience for varied SME clients.
• Confidence to become a trusted business advisor and communicate with clients.
• Experience with VAT returns and systems guidance.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain books for SME clients and prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts.
• Prepare VAT returns and assist with system implementations and training.
• Advise clients on best-practice systems and processes.

I’m working with a friendly and successful firm of accountants, who have experienced strong demand for their bookkeeping and management accounting services over recent times. As a consequence they need to recruit another specialist to join this team.

You will be well versed in all aspects of bookkeeping, VAT return preparation and management accounting for a varied client base, and you will need to have the confidence and interpersonal skills to become a trusted business advisor to your SME clients.

Strong systems experience is a must, as you will work on a daily basis on a variety of packages to include Xero, Sage and QuickBooks. You will also assist with systems implementations, training and advising your clients on systems best practice.
