Job summary

Ellis James Partners Limited in Elstree, Hertfordshire, is seeking a Client Administrator to support the day-to-day delivery of a high-quality service to clients. This office-based role (Mon-Fri) offers a salary of £25,000–£30,000 per year.

You will work closely with Financial Advisers, clients and providers, helping to keep cases moving while gaining exposure to the technical side of financial planning. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or wealth management preferred but not essential.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Confident phone manner and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for client meetings and ensure advisers have everything they need.
• Manage new business, onboarding and ongoing administration from start to finish.
• Speak directly with clients, including arranging annual reviews and gathering outstanding information.
• Liaise with providers across pensions, investments and protection.
• Keep clients and advisers updated as cases progress.
• Maintain diaries, appointments and general client enquiries.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM and related systems.
• Support with Annual Review and Fund Switch reports.
• Assist with investment and pension cases, including contributions and lump-sum investments.
• Help the wider team with day-to-day administration and process improvements.
