Are you an experienced accountant looking for a new challenge in a supportive and growing firm? I am delighted to be working with a well-established accountancy practice based in Leeds, seeking an experienced accountant to join the team in a newly created role, due to continued growth.

About the Role:

As a key member of the practice, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients across various industries, providing high-quality accounting and advisory services. Your role will involve:

* Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies

* Completing VAT returns and management accounts

* Handling corporation tax and personal tax returns

* Reviewing work from junior team members and supporting their development

* Liaising with clients to provide proactive business advice

* Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations

What We’re Looking For:

* AAT Qualified or Qualified by Experience with a strong background in an accountancy practice

* Solid experience in accounts preparation, tax, and VAT

* Knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or IRIS

* Strong client management skills and the ability to build lasting relationships

* A proactive approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
