Your new company

A growing property management company based in Birmingham city centre is currently recruiting for a Client Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract with a high chance of becoming permanent after the contract ends.

Your new role

1. Understand and document specific client reporting requirements and operating procedures to ensure service delivery.
2. Respond promptly to routine queries from clients, tenants, and colleagues, providing account analysis as required.
3. Ensure that data related to the portfolio is complete, accurate, and maintained in a timely manner.
4. Make postings promptly, efficiently, and accurately.
5. Deliver regular reports according to agreed timescales, ensuring all reviews are completed.
6. Monitor rent, service charge, rates, and similar payments made on behalf of clients.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong previous finance experience.
• Experience working in a property-related environment.
• Good knowledge of cash reconciliations, especially reconciling all aspects of Service Charge accounts.
