The Role
Projects Delivery Unit seeks an experienced and energetic Clerk of Works to support the Council's development portfolio.
Location and Working Arrangements
The successful candidate will be based at Perceval House, working across Ealing borough. The role is full-time, permanent, primarily field-based, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections, checks, and supervisory duties for new build and refurbishment projects on local authority buildings.
- Provide timely reports, advice, and maintain accurate records to address building defects across multiple projects.
- Represent the Council’s Economy and Sustainability directorate, promoting best practices.
Skills and Qualifications
- Degree qualified or equivalent through experience.
- MICWCI status or equivalent.
- Significant experience post-MICWCI qualification.
- Effective communicator, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible and adaptable, capable of managing various tasks independently.
- Experience with medium and major construction projects of different types.
- Knowledge of current Building Regulations and construction practices.
