Job summary

Maxim Recruitment is seeking a Clerk of Works / Construction Supervisor for a high-end residential project in Belper on a fixed-term contract. The role focuses on site inspections and ensuring construction quality and compliance across the details of a luxury build.

The candidate should have strong practical experience in site inspection and verification, with formal qualifications desirable but not strictly required. CSCS or equivalent certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Formal qualifications are desirable, although strong practical construction experience and proven site inspection ability will be particularly important for this Clerk of Works / Construction Supervisor role.
• ICWCI membership or working towards membership would be advantageous.
• CIOB, RICS or similar professional membership would be beneficial.
• Construction-related HNC, HND, degree or equivalent technical qualification would be desirable.
• Trade background with substantial site-based residential construction experience may also be suitable.
• CSCS card or equivalent site certification may be required.
