Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and well organised individual to join the Specialised Cancer Services Booking Team at Weston Park Hospital.

The newly created team are responsible for the management of the Oncology outpatient appointments both here at Weston Park Hospital and across South Yorkshire and Chesterfield.

Working Hours/Pattern: 37.5 hours a week - Monday to Friday.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of this role include:

  • Managing the SCS outpatient waiting lists for both new and follow up patients.
  • Process incoming referrals.
  • Book clinic appointments, often ensuring they are in line with the patients treatment cycle.
  • Liaise with various different staff groups.
  • Monitor/manage the teams email inboxes.
  • Speak with patients on the phone - both incoming and outgoing calls.
