Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Production Technician/Engineer to join its Manufacturing Team. The role focuses on hands-on manufacturing, assembly and testing of products in a cleanroom environment, with 2-shift rotation and rapid problem solving to keep lines running.

The candidate should have 3+ years in a similar setting and hold Level 3/5 Engineering diplomas. Lean Six Sigma knowledge and strong planning skills are a plus. Office presence is expected on site in the UK.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as Production Technician or Engineer in a similar fabrication environment.
• Level 3 Diploma or equivalent in Engineering.
• Level 5 Diploma or equivalent in Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Wear a full cleanroom suit and perform production tasks for assembly/testing.
• Support and maintain production on a 2-shift rotating basis, including setup, operation, and shutdown of equipment.
• Monitor production processes and troubleshoot initial issues to minimise downtime and scrap.
• Contribute to process development and optimisation to improve yield and reduce costs.
• Ensure adherence to engineering principles, quality standards, and procedures across fabrication and test areas.
• Provide clear feedback and coordinate with shift supervisors to address priorities.
