Job description

JOB TITLE: Cleaning and Waste Operative - Days

LOCATION: LCY3 – Dartford DA1 5PT

HOURS: Hours per week

SHIFT PATTERN: 4 on 4 off (7:00am-7:00pm)

Role Overview and Purpose

As an ABM cleaning operative, your role will be to deliver cleaning services to client facilities in and around the building to a high standard. Responsibilities include cleaning floors in building reception areas, dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, removing larger objects from the floor, and spot cleaning glass doors/windows. You will also clean stainless-steel fixtures and barriers, dry mop black marble pillars inside and outside.

Key Responsibilities

1. Clean and sanitize lifts, wipe all external & internal stainless-steel on lift doors/frames/runners, wipe down and remove smudges from mirrors, sweep and mop floors.
2. Clean restrooms/showers, empty trash, sanitize fixtures, clean mirrors, shower cubicle partition doors/walls, and mop tile floors.
3. Set up, stock, and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
4. Monitor and maintain sanitation and organization of assigned areas.
5. Assist team leaders/supervisors to ensure optimal service delivery.
6. Perform additional duties as needed within reason.
7. Attend monthly training sessions as directed by supervisor/line manager.
