Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a Cleaning Technician in Leyland, Lancashire to deliver specialist cleaning and restoration services across residential and commercial properties. No prior specialist cleaning experience is required as full training will be provided, and you will work flexible hours with an average of 40 hours per week plus overtime opportunities.

The role offers competitive pay of £12.71 per hour, with time-and-a-half on Saturdays and after 10pm, and a supportive team environment

Responsibilities

• Carry out specialist cleaning and restoration services, including carpet, upholstery and hard floor cleaning.
• Work independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality results.
• Use specialist equipment and cleaning techniques safely and effectively.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained, cleaned and kept in good working order.
• Provide excellent customer service while working at residential and commercial properties.
• Work closely with management and colleagues to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
• Follow all company procedures relating to health and safety and quality standards.
• Work in commercial buildings such as schools, public halls and offices.
• Be flexible to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends and overtime when required.

Cleaning Technician (Specialist Cleaning & Restoration)

Location: Leyland, Lancashire

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Hours: Variable hours, with an average of 40 hours per week, plus overtime opportunities.

Working Hours & Pay

The working hours are not fixed and will vary from week to week depending on business requirements. Candidates must be flexible and able to work different shift patterns.

For example, shifts may include:

• Tuesday-Saturday, 8am-5pm
• Tuesday-Thursday, 4pm-11pm
• Friday, 12pm-5pm
• Saturday, 7am-3pm

Every week can be different, so flexibility around working days and times is essential. You will be given plenty of notice when evening/night work, such as 4pm-11pm shifts, is required.

The standard rate is £12.71 per hour.

Saturday working & hours worked after 10pm are paid at time and a half (£19.07 per hour).
