Amey is offering a Permanent Cleaning Working Team Leader position for Lockerbie on-site at the Dumfries and Galloway schools account. Salary £14.12 per hour, 30 hours per week, with a shift pattern starting early mornings and late afternoons, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Supervise cleaners within your team, carrying out basic people management activity
• Carry out bi-weekly cleaning audits for internal improvements
• Control stock levels and order consumables to ensure service delivery
• Operate machinery safely according to guidelines and training
• Train cleaners in Amey procedures including 6-month refreshers
• Resolve concerns raised by team members or escalate to manager
• Carry out reasonable requests from line manager
• Ensure H&S standards across the contract

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Cleaning Working Team Leader to come and join our Dumfries and Galloway schools account in Lockerbie Primary school, Glasgow Rd, Lockerbie DG11 2AT

This position is on site

£14.12 per hour

The standard hours of work are 30 hours per week (shift pattern: Am shift 05.00am-08.00am and then again 15:30pm - 18-30pm Monday to Friday)

We work in partnership with our clients and end-users to ensure our 24/7 services are delivered to the highest standard with minimum impact or disruption to day-to-day operational requirements of the schools.

What you will do:

• Supervise cleaners within your team, carrying out basic people management activity
• Carry out bi- weekly cleaning audits for internal improvements
• Control stock levels and order consumables to ensure service delivery through the correct channels
• Operate machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training provided
• Train cleaners in Amey way modules including 6 monthly refreshers.
• Resolve any concerns or issues raised by team members or escape to your people manager if you are not able to.
• Carry out any reasonable requests that are directed by your line manager.
• Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.
• This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.

What you will bring:

• Have supervisor/ team leader cleaning experience, preferably within a facilities maintenance background
• Highly organised, responsible, efficient, and excellent attention to detail
• Strong customer services skills, friendly, approachable with a positive work ethic
