Job summary

Atlas is seeking a diligent janitor to join our client’s site in Crawley. You’ll be part of the Atlas Family, receive full training in the first week, and deliver cleaning to a high standard while maintaining safety and a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

You’ll work across shifts, handle cleaning materials, replenish supplies, manage waste, and coordinate deliveries, with opportunity to progress within Atlas and benefit from learning and financial wellbeing tools.

Qualifications

• Basic level of spoken English required for safety communication and interaction with staff.”
• Experience in cleaning and supervisory roles is desirable.
• Ability to carry out the physical aspects of the role.
• Local to the Crawley area or willing to travel to site.

Responsibilities

• Dedicating time on site to meet client needs and deliver cleaning to a high standard.
• Receive training during first week and learn the cleaning/maintenance specification.
• Provide high standard of customer care across different shift hours.
• Handle site equipment and cleaning materials with proper training.
• Replenish consumables (paper towels, soap, toilet paper, bin liners).
• Empty litter bins into waste/recycling containers.
• Ensure cleaning is completed to highest standards and external areas kept tidy.
• Maintain bins and recycling room and coordinate deliveries.
• Follow Health and Safety standards at all times.
• Work as part of a team that goes the extra mile.
