Job summary

Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor for Cross Hands to lead a team and maintain high standards of cleanliness across county premises. The role is permanent term-time with 15 hours weekly and an hourly rate of £13.80–£14.25.

You will train, supervise and coordinate staff, ensure safe and efficient cleaning tasks, and manage equipment and supplies. Welsh language basics are required, with DBS check and safeguarding considerations in place.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning roles and supervising teams.
• DBS check required.
• Basic knowledge of Welsh (Level 1).

Responsibilities

• Train, oversee and coordinate cleaning staff to ensure tasks are completed safely and to a high standard.
• Maintain equipment and replenish cleaning products.
• Handle customer feedback professionally and effectively.
