Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor for Cabot Circus Shopping Centre in Bristol to lead a cleaning team, ensure delivery of planned and periodic cleaning, and uphold service standards for the client.

You will recruit, develop and manage the team, monitor health and safety, schedules, training, holidays, and performance, and handle administrative duties as required. A professional attitude and reliable, proactive work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory and cleaning experience.
• They will have good communication skills, be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude and they will be able to work to a schedule on their own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine planned and periodic cleaning via your team.
• Ensure cleaning standards meet the Service Level agreed with the client.
• Ensure the cleaning team understands and follows task schedules while adhering to health & safety procedures.
• Distribute uniforms, monitor cleanliness and use of materials, and order stocks as necessary.
• Manage your team's holidays, training, and performance.
• Handle issues efficiently and professionally, referring to line manager when appropriate.
• Undertake administrative duties as requested by line manager.

Cleaning Supervisor- Cabot Circus Shopping Centre, Bristol

Pay Rate: £16.92 per hour

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to manage a cleaning team, including recruitment and development of team and maintain excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer.

Main Duties

• You will be responsible for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning via your team.
• You will help ensure the cleaning standards meet the Service Level agreed with the client
• You will ensure that the cleaning team understand and work to task schedules while following the correct Health & Safety procedures by providing technical training as and when required.
• You will distribute uniforms, monitor standard of cleanliness and the use of materials and order stocks as necessary.
• You will manage your team's holidays, training, and performance.
• You will deal with any issues efficiently and in a professional manner, referring to line manager where appropriate.
• You will need undertake any administrative duties as requested by line manager.
