Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to lead a cleaning team across client sites in Manchester, delivering high standards of service while meeting SLA requirements.

The role is part-time (20 hours per week) with an hourly rate of £14.55, based at Saica Paper Mill, Manchester. You will recruit, train and motivate staff, ensure health and safety compliance, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Supervisory and cleaning experience required.
• Must have a full clean driving licence.
• Strong communication and professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and to a schedule.
• Reliable, hardworking and committed to service excellence.
• Willingness to support continuous improvement in service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage a cleaning team, including recruitment, training, and development
• Deliver routine planned and periodic cleaning to a high standard
• Ensure staff follow task schedules and Health & Safety procedures
• Monitor cleanliness standards, distribute uniforms, and manage stock levels
• Handle issues professionally and escalate to line manager when needed
