Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee daily site operations, drive a cleaning team, and uphold safety and quality standards on a busy site in Tamworth.

You will coordinate staff, train new team members, and act as the main on-site contact for clients and managers, ensuring tasks are completed to guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Demonstrable people skills or experience coordinating a team.
• Experience cleaning in a similar environment or transferable skills.
• Understanding of COSHH and H&S compliance on similar sites/environments.
• Experience in training and inducting colleagues.

About The Role:

As a Cleaning Supervisor you will oversee the effective supervisory and safety concerns when it comes to daily operations on site within the cleaning team.

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• To be the clients/Managers main point of contact on site
• To co-ordinate and drive a team on site, whilst completing core cleaning duties with the team
• To support the manager with the training and induction of new staff, and the completion of training records
• To lead by example when completing task, following the safe systems of work and method statements

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Must have right to work in the UK
• To have demonstratable people skills or experience co-ordinating a team
• Experience cleaning in a similar environment or transferable skills, knowledge, and understanding
• Understanding of COSHH and H&S compliance on similar sites/environments
• Experience in training and inducting colleagues
