Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a capable Cleaning Supervisor to lead a small team across Exeter client sites. You will manage rotas, holidays and performance, and deliver training to cleaning operatives while keeping accurate records.

You will conduct weekly audits, uphold safety and hygiene standards, and comply with safety protocols, including the potential use of heavy equipment and working at heights.

Qualifications

  • Must have Right to Work in the UK.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Experience in cleaning/food manufacturing environment advantageous.
  • Willingness to work at height.
  • COSHH and IOSH training desirable.

Responsibilities

At OCS, our cleaners play an important part in providing safe, clean environments in which our customers can thrive in their workspaces.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Managing a small team, looking after rotas, holidays, and performance and responsible for delivering training to all cleaning operatives and ensuring all records are updated correctly.
  • Responsible for conducting cleaning audits on a weekly basis and escalating any areas of concern
  • An awareness of the need to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
  • This role may require the use of heavy industrial equipment, specialist chemicals and working at heights.
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
  • You must have Right to Work in the UK
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role.A background working in cleaning/ food manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
  • Willingness to work at height.
  • COSHH and IOSH trained desirable.
