Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a dependable Cleaning Supervisor for Willoughby Primary School, Loughborough. The role is a 3-month contract with weekday evenings (4:00pm–6:00pm) on-site, Enhanced DBS required.

You will oversee cleaning services, supervise on-site operatives, and ensure safety and standards across the site, with bi-weekly pay and a supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or cleaning supervisory experience.
• Solid understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
• Ability to supervise and support frontline cleaning staff.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS Check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the cleaning services across the school premises.
• Ensure that cleaning standards meet contract specifications and service level agreements.
• Provide support and supervision to Building Cleaning Operatives on site.
• Monitor the quality of cleaning services and promptly address any issues.
• Ensure the safe storage and use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and machinery.
• Maintain site security, including managing alarms and building security protocols.
• Complete and maintain administrative records on site, such as: Timesheets, Holiday forms, Health & Safety documentation.
• Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
• Support the welfare and development of the cleaning staff.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:00pm - 6:00pm

DBS: Enhanced DBS Required

Summary

We are looking for a dependable and proactive Cleaning Supervisor to ensure the effective delivery of cleaning and caretaking services at Willoughby Primary School.
