Job summary

ISS UK is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to lead a team and deliver high-quality housekeeping services across client sites in Reading. You will plan, coordinate, and supervise cleaning operations, set and maintain high standards, and ensure a safe working environment in line with Health & Safety regulations.

You will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent customer service skills, reliability, and the ability to work both on your own initiative and as part of a team.

The Role

• Plan, organise, and coordinate cleaning operations to meet financial and performance targets
• Lead by example with a passion for customer service and strong, inspiring leadership
• Set and maintain high standards for yourself and your team
• Create and manage cleaning schedules for your team
• Deliver an exceptional level of cleaning service within your area of responsibility
• Carry out general cleaning duties, including offices, meeting rooms, toilets, showers, vacuuming, and mopping
• Use all cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
• Maintain a safe working environment in line with Health & Safety regulations and company standards
• Excellent customer service skills
• Reliable, hardworking, and professional in approach
• A team player who works well with colleagues and customers
• Able to communicate politely and effectively with all site users
• Strong attention to detail, maintaining exceptional cleaning standards
• Able to work effectively on your own initiative
• Strong leadership skills
• Relevant experience in cleaning and supervising cleaning operations
