Mitie Group plc. in Solihull is seeking an Evening Cleaning Supervisor to lead a small team of three operatives, delivering high cleaning standards and excellent customer service. The role is part-time, 11 hours a week, with Tuesday to Friday 3:30pm to 6:15pm. The successful candidate will supervise tasks, perform quality checks, and uphold safety and COSHH regulations.

Evening Cleaning Supervisor

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Evening Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. Working alongside a team of three cleaning operatives, you will be responsible for ensuring high cleaning standards are maintained, tasks are completed efficiently, and excellent customer service is delivered at all times.

Hours of Work

• Tuesday to Friday
• 3:30pm to 6:15pm
• 2 hours 45 minutes per shift
• 11 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of three cleaning operatives.
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor progress throughout the shift.
• Carry out quality checks and ensure all cleaning activities meet agreed service standards and SLAs.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and safe to use.
• Assist with cleaning duties where required and lead by example.
• Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or maintenance issues.
• Ensure all Health & Safety procedures, COSHH regulations, and safe working practices are followed.
• Build positive working relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Deliver excellent customer service and identify opportunities to improve service delivery.
• Complete any required documentation and communicate effectively with management.

About the Role

As an Evening Cleaning Supervisor, you will develop a thorough understanding of the designated cleaning areas, including cleaning schedules, equipment, and chemicals used on site. You will be responsible for ensuring work is completed to the highest standards while supporting and motivating your team to achieve excellent results.

The successful candidate will be required to complete all relevant training necessary for the role and will be expected to work both as part of a team and on their own initiative when required.
