The Chiltern School in Houghton Regis is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to lead a small team and maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils and staff. The role will involve key-holding responsibilities and ensuring high standards of cleanliness across all school areas.

Appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references. The post is part-time (18.5 hours per week) with term-time working plus inset days and occasional deep-clean sessions during school

About the job

We are looking for a Cleaning Supervisor who ‘Dares to be Different’ You will supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure a clean, safe and welcoming environment across the school premises for pupils, staff and visitors, as well as serving as a trusted key holder for our school site.

You will be joining a fantastic team who go the extra mile for our amazing young people. In line with our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students, appointments will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Hours of work are 18.5 per week (2.30pm - 6.00pm Monday to Thursday, 1.30pm - 6.00pm Friday), term time plus 5 inset days and 2 weeks in the school holidays for deep cleaning.
