Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Supervisor to lead a cleaning team and ensure a clean, safe workspace. The role involves managing rotas, holidays, and performance, and delivering training to cleaning operatives with up-to-date records.

You will conduct weekly cleaning audits, escalate issues, and uphold high cleanliness and hygiene standards while adhering to safety protocols. The job may involve heavy equipment and working at heights.

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
• This role may require the use of heavy industrial equipment, specialist chemicals and working at heights.

As Supervisor, you will ensure that cleaning staff perform their duties efficiently, maintain high cleanliness standards, and contribute to a safe and hygienic environment.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Managing a small team, looking after rotas, holidays, and performance and responsible for delivering training to all cleaning operatives and ensuring all records are updated correctly.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• You must have Right to Work in the UK


• Excellent communication skills.


• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role.


• A background working in cleaning/ food manufacturing environment would be advantageous.


• Willingness to work at height.


• COSHH and IOSH trained desirable.
