OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Supervisory Cleaner to lead a small team, manage rotas and performance, and deliver training. The role involves weekly audits, maintaining high cleanliness standards, and strict safety compliance in a facilities management setting.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, excellent communication, and a willingness to work at height. COSHH and IOSH training are desirable. This is an on-site role requiring Right to Work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Must have Right to Work in the UK.
• Previous supervisory or managerial experience.
• Background in cleaning/food manufacturing is advantageous.
• COSHH and IOSH training desirable.

About The Role:

Shift Pattern: Saturday to Thursday 5am - 9am

At OCS, our cleaners play an important part in providing safe, clean environments in which our customers can thrive in their workspaces.

As Supervisor, you will ensure that cleaning staff perform their duties efficiently, maintain high cleanliness standards, and contribute to a safe and hygienic environment.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Managing a small team, looking after rotas, holidays, and performance and responsible for delivering training to all cleaning operatives and ensuring all records are updated correctly.
• Responsible for conducting cleaning audits on a weekly basis and escalating any areas of concern
• An awareness of the need to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
• This role may require the use of heavy industrial equipment, specialist chemicals and working at heights.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• You must have Right to Work in the UK
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• A background working in cleaning/ food manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
• Willingness to work at height.
• COSHH and IOSH trained desirable.
