Job summary

NuServe is hiring a reliable Cleaning Operative to join our Watford team. In this role you will sweep, mop, dust and sanitize to maintain clean, safe and welcoming spaces while upholding health and safety standards.

As a B Corp company, we value people, planet and purpose. You will work Monday to Friday, 7pm–8:30pm, with DBS clearance required, and you will have opportunities for training, development and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors to keep them gleaming.
• Dust surfaces, furniture and fixtures to maintain tidiness.
• Empty bins and replace liners for clean spaces.
• Clean and sanitise restrooms including toilets, sinks, mirrors and floors.
• Restock bathroom supplies such as toilet paper, soap and towels.
• Order and maintain cleaning supplies for the site.
• Follow supervisor instructions and complete tasks efficiently.

About The Role

Join a B Corp Company on a Mission to Transform Facilities Management

We're looking for a reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team. If you take pride in maintaining clean, safe and welcoming spaces and enjoy making a positive difference through your work, we'd love to hear from you.

Salary: £13.45
Location: Watford
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7pm - 8.30pm
Contract: Permanent
Start Date: As soon as we find the right person.
DBS Clearance Required - Must be willing to undergo Enhanced DBS clearance.

Key Duties

• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors to keep them gleaming.
• Dusting surfaces, furniture and fixtures to maintain a tidy environment.
• Emptying bins and replacing liners to ensure clean, pleasant spaces.
• Cleaning and sanitising restrooms (including toilets, sinks, mirrors and floors).
• Restocking bathroom supplies such as toilet paper, soap and paper towels.
• Ordering and maintaining cleaning supplies for the site.
• Following instructions from your supervisor and completing tasks efficiently.
• Communicating professionally with clients, colleagues and your supervisor, and reporting any issues or queries promptly.
• Following all health and safety procedures, including the safe use and storage of cleaning products, use of appropriate protective equipment, and reporting any hazards, incidents or accidents.

Desirable Criteria

• Previous cleaning experience (but don’t worry — full training will be provided!)
