Job summary

Bidvest Noonan is seeking a Cleaning Operative to join our client on site. You will perform cleaning across office areas, welfare facilities, corridors, plant rooms and Data Halls to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Training will be provided where needed. A good standard of spoken and written English, reliability and teamwork are essential. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be beneficial, with free on-site parking available for employees.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, facilities or housekeeping preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently.
• Able to follow health and safety procedures.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties across office areas, welfare facilities, corridors, plant rooms and Data Halls.
• Vacuum, dust, mop and wipe surfaces to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure areas are clean, safe and operational.
• Follow site-specific cleaning methods and standards, including data centre security procedures.
• Buff, polish and jet wash floors where required.
• Empty and reline waste bins and assist with waste management.

• Carry out cleaning duties across office areas, welfare facilities, corridors, plant rooms and Data Halls.
• Vacuum, dust, mop and wipe down surfaces to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Conduct regular inspections and cleaning activities to ensure all areas remain clean, safe and operational.
• Perform dust control procedures in critical environments, following site-specific cleaning methods and standards.
• Buff, polish and jet wash floors where required.
• Empty, segregate and reline waste bins, ensuring waste is disposed of correctly.
• Support recycling and waste management processes in line with site procedures.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any defects or health and safety concerns.
• Follow all health and safety requirements, including Data Centre security and access procedures.
• Be flexible and support the wider team with additional duties as required.
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure service levels are consistently achieved.
  Do you have good communication and interpersonal skills?
• Do you have a good standard of spoken and written English?
• Do you have experience in a cleaning, facilities, or housekeeping role? If not, full training will be provided.
• Are you reliable, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team?
• Are you comfortable working in a security-controlled Centre environment?
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be beneficial. Free on-site parking is available for employees.(but not essential).
• Flexible and willing to support with additional duties when required.
