Job summary

NuServe, a B Corp company, is seeking a reliable Cleaning Operative to join our London team. You will keep spaces clean, safe and welcoming, and you will receive full training.

This zero-hours contract offers flexible hours with start date 15th September. You will work in a supportive environment and contribute to maintaining high cleaning standards across our site.

Qualifications

• Commitment to high cleaning and hygiene standards.
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work.
• Clear communication with colleagues and customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage tasks and priorities in a busy environment.
• Previous cleaning experience (full training provided).

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors to keep them gleaming.
• Dust surfaces, furniture and fixtures to maintain tidiness.
• Empty bins and replace liners to ensure clean spaces.
• Clean and sanitise restrooms (toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors).
• Restock bathroom supplies such as toilet paper, soap and towels.
• Order and maintain cleaning supplies for the site.
• Follow supervisor instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
• Communicate professionally with clients, colleagues and supervisor; report issues promptly.
• Follow health and safety procedures and use PPE.

We're looking for a reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team. If you take pride in maintaining clean, safe and welcoming spaces and enjoy making a positive difference through your work, we'd love to hear from you.

Start Date: 15th September

Key Duties

As part of our friendly and supportive team, you'll play a key role in keeping our site clean, safe and comfortable for everyone. Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors to keep them gleaming.
• Dusting surfaces, furniture and fixtures to maintain a tidy environment.
• Emptying bins and replacing liners to ensure clean, pleasant spaces.
• Cleaning and sanitising restrooms (including toilets, sinks, mirrors and floors).
• Restocking bathroom supplies such as toilet paper, soap and paper towels.
• Ordering and maintaining cleaning supplies for the site.
• Following instructions from your supervisor and completing tasks efficiently.
• Communicating professionally with clients, colleagues and your supervisor, and reporting any issues or queries promptly.
• Following all health and safety procedures, including the safe use and storage of cleaning products, use of appropriate protective equipment, and reporting any hazards, incidents or accidents.
