Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a reliable Cleaning Operative in Tidworth to deliver high-quality cleaning services across offices, classrooms, washrooms and accommodation blocks. The role is full-time (35 hours/week) with an early start and a pay of £12.71 per hour, plus on-the-job training and funded apprenticeship qualifications.

You will follow schedules, handle COSHH-compliant chemicals, report equipment issues, and work as part of a team to maintain safe, tidy spaces.

Qualifications

• Good attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Professional and reliable approach to work.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety is desirable.
• Experience using industrial cleaning equipment is advantageous.
• Experience working in a military environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all assigned areas.
• Follow cleaning schedules, company procedures and health & safety requirements.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in line with COSHH regulations.
• Report any damaged or defective equipment to your Manager.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive approach at all times.
• Work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues when required.
• Help maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as required.
