Job summary

Bidvest Noonan is seeking a Cleaning Operative to support Ulster University Belfast Campus. You will ensure the assigned areas are cleaned to the required standards, adhering to health and safety regulations and defined procedures.

This full-time, permanent role offers Monday to Friday 10pm–6am with a pay rate of £13.45 per hour. Successful candidates will have good English, strong communication skills, and a professional appearance, with ongoing training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complete all checklists as required.
• Operate cleaning machinery per instructions; comply with health and safety regulations.

Job description

Bidvest Noonan is seeking to hire a Cleaning Operatives for our Customer based in Ulster University Belfast Campus.

The main purpose of the role for the Cleaning Operative is to ensure that their allocated area is cleaned to the required specification whilst adhering to defined procedures and health and safety regulations.

Location:

• Ulster University - Belfast City Centre

Hours of work:

• Full time - permanent
• Monday to Friday 10pm - 6am
• £13.45 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Reinforce our vision to always be our clients “partner of choice”;
• To dust control/vacuum and mop floors
• Empty and reline waste bins
• Dispose of rubbish
• Wash walls/ledges/desks/doors/glass/fixtures/fittings and chairs as per specification
• Wash/Sweep/Damp dust all stairs and hand rails as per specification
• Toilets/Washrooms
• Ensure all areas of your schedule are completed as required
• Ensure all checklists are signed off as required
• Use of cleaning machinery, burnisher, scrubber dryer etc.
• Comply with all health & safety regulations, manual handling, COSHH.
• Carry out any reasonable work instruction to the standard required

Education/Experience:

• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good oral and written English
• The provision of customer service is paramount and customer care is a key element of the role.
