Job summary

Kepak Group in Aberdeen is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain hygiene across our production environments. You will clean machinery, floors, walls and production lines, using pressure washers and approved cleaning chemicals in a safe manner.

Role requires attention to detail, reliability for night shifts, and willingness to participate in mandatory health and safety training. Collaborative team player with a proactive approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required for written and verbal communication.
• Experience in an industrial cleaning environment preferred.
• Ability to handle manual tasks and operate cleaning equipment safely.
• Meticulous attention to hygiene standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean industrial machinery, tools and equipment to the highest standard.
• Clean factory floors, walls, work surfaces and production lines.
• Safely use pressure washers and cleaning equipment.
• Use cleaning materials and chemicals in line with training.
• Complete daily tasks and relevant documentation/checklists.
• Maintain health and safety standards and participate in training.

Role Purpose

Responsible for ensuring that the standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the production environment is achieved on a daily basis, ensuring safe use of industrial cleaning equipment at all times.

Role Requirements

• Ensuring cleaning of all Industrial machinery, tools, and equipment is carried to the highest standard
• Cleaning of factory floors, walls, work surfaces and production lines within allocated area
• Safe use of industrial pressure washers and cleaning equipment
• Safe use of cleaning materials and chemicals, in line with training
• Maintain and safely operate tools, equipment, and chemicals
• Adhering to cleaning instructions and schedules, to ensure tasks meet the required hygiene standards
• Maintain Industrial Hygiene Standards
• Completion of daily cleaning tasks, and completion of all relevant documentation and checklists
• Maintain to Health and Safety Standards
• Actively participate in all required company training
• Complying with Company's health and safety rules, and hygiene requirements
• Carry out any other duties as directed
• Any other duties as required by management and within the competency of the post holder
