Job summary

Kepak Group in Merthyr Tydfil is seeking Despatch Operatives for the site. The role is permanent, full-time, working Monday to Friday from 6.30pm to 3.30am, with an hourly rate of £14.09. You will rotate stock, book in stock, unload/load wagons, pick and scan to orders, and ensure accurate dispatch documentation.

The department emphasises health and safety and adherence to procedures. Benefits include 31 days annual leave (probationary period applies), pension, death in service, refer a friend

We offer beef and lamb products ranging from retail ready cuts for butchers' counters to branded packaged meat, all as part of our service; raised on open pastures, sourced from local farmers and hand-selected by our master butchers, we produce beef and lamb products with integrity and unmatched quality assurance.

Our Despatch Department are looking for candidates with initiative, who want to learn and grow in a the position, to become Despatch Operatives in our busy Merthyr Tydfil site.

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday from 6.30pm - 3.30am with an hourly salary of £14.09.

Job Description

• Ensuring stock is rotated within department
• Booking in stock and unloading/loading wagons
• Picking and scanning to orders
• Primary purpose is to ensure correct products are picked and quantities despatched.
• Being accountable for ensuring all documentation is accurately completed.
