Job summary

Kepak Group is seeking a Factory Cleaner for our Bodmin site. You will maintain cleanliness and hygiene in a busy food production environment, ensuring compliance with GMP and HACCP standards.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, starting at 6:30am, with a requirement for own transport due to location. Key duties include cleaning factory areas, sanitising equipment and surfaces, and operating power washers, scrubbers and vacuums.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial cleaning or food production is preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP guidelines and HACCP.
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning schedules.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible availability to work different hours if needed.
• Physically fit and able to lift/move equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hygiene by cleaning floors, walls and ceilings in the factory.
• Empty waste and recycling bins across the plant.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment and food-contact surfaces.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as power washers, scrubbers and vacuums.
• Follow health and safety regulations and uphold quality standards.
• Adhere to GMP guidelines and report maintenance issues to supervisor.

Kepak Group is a leading food production company and we are looking for a Factory Cleaner to join our team at our Bodmin site. As an Industrial Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our manufacturing plant, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of food safety and quality.

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday - 6:30am until production finishes

Your own transport is required due to our location and the times of public transport links to Bodmin

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of the factory including floors, walls, and ceilings to maintain a hygienic environment
• Empty garbage cans and recycling bins throughout the plant
• Clean and sanitize production equipment and all food contact surfaces
• Operate cleaning equipment such as power washers, scrubbers, and vacuums
• Follow all health and safety regulations and uphold quality standards
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines
• Report any maintenance issues to the supervisor

Requirements

• Prior experience in industrial cleaning or food production is preferred
