Job summary

Totally Local Company is recruiting for a Cleaning Team member based at Cheadle Village Primary School. The role is part-time, with 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 15:00 to 17:30, at a salary of £13.28 per hour. No prior experience is required, and you will be an ambassador for TLC in the community.

You will work alongside our team to maintain high cleaning standards, attend safety training, and support the on-site supervisor with reporting faults and ensuring smooth operations.

• No previous experience required for the role.

Responsibilities

• You'll use equipment, machinery and cleaning materials effectively, efficiently and in accordance with safe working practices to carry out your duties.
• You'll check and report any faults with equipment, machinery or the building itself, to the on site supervisor or Area Manager describing fully the nature of the faults.
• You'll maintain good working relationships with clients and deal with any minor queries or complaints, and to relay any significant customer issues to the on site supervisor or Area Manager for further action.
• You'll participate in staff training programmes and to carry out all duties in a responsible manner with due regard to the Authority's Health and Safety Policy.
• You'll perform any additional duties related to the work of the section appropriate to the post, as and when required.
