Job summary

Kingdom Cleaning is hiring a Part-Time Cleaning Operative at Milton Keynes College I.O.T. in MK3. The role is a flexi contract with an average of 10 hours per week, with shifts Monday to Friday 06:00–08:00. An Enhanced DBS with Children's Barred List check is required due to the site.

You will maintain a clean, safe environment for students, staff and visitors, performing standard cleaning tasks and following health and safety guidelines. Prior cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas within the contract to a high standard.
• Vacuum carpets and clean hard floors including sweeping and mopping.
• Dust and wipe surfaces, desks, shelves and equipment.
• Empty waste and recycling bins and dispose of rubbish correctly.
• Clean internal glass, windows and doors.
• Sanitise toilets, sinks and washrooms.
• Replenish consumables such as soap and toilet paper.
• Clean kitchen and staff welfare areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in communal areas and classrooms.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and site requirements.

Location: Milton Keynes College I.O.T., MK3 6DR
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Average 10 hours per week (Flexi Contract)
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 08:00

About the Role

Kingdom Cleaning is looking for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to join our team at Milton Keynes College I.O.T. in MK3.

This is a part-time, flexi contract role where you will play a key part in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for students, staff, and visitors. Due to the nature of the site, an Enhanced DBS with Children's Barred List check will be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning all areas within the contract to a high standard
• Vacuuming carpets and cleaning hard floors, including sweeping and mopping
• Dusting and wiping surfaces, desks, shelves, and equipment
• Emptying waste and recycling bins and disposing of rubbish correctly
• Cleaning internal glass, windows, and doors
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets, sinks, and washroom facilities
• Replenishing consumables such as soap, toilet paper, and hand towels
• Cleaning kitchen and staff welfare areas
• Maintaining cleanliness in communal areas, classrooms, corridors, and break rooms
• Following all health and safety procedures and site requirements
