Job summary

East Suffolk Services Limited is recruiting a Cleaning Operative to join our Facilities Management team in Melton. This permanent, part-time role provides essential cleaning across offices, reception, kitchens and restrooms, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment.

You will work 15 hours per week (Mon–Fri, 5pm–8pm) with a competitive hourly rate. We value reliability, pride in work, and a commitment to high standards.

Qualifications

  • Previous cleaning experience or a good understanding of general cleaning practices is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality cleaning services across offices, reception and foyer spaces, kitchens and toilet facilities.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in line with health and safety standards.

We currently have an opportunity to join our Facilities Management team as a Cleaning Operative in Melton.

Your role

You will provide high-quality cleaning services across a range of areas, including offices, reception and foyer spaces, kitchens, and toilet facilities. You will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, while ensuring all cleaning tasks are carried out in line with health and safety standards, including the safe and correct use of cleaning equipment and products.

What you will need

Previous cleaning experience or a good understanding of general cleaning practices is desirable. You will have a positive, reliable approach to your work, take pride in maintaining high standards, and be committed to delivering excellent results.
