Job summary

The Floorbrite Group is seeking a Cleaning Operative for United Utilities at the Whitehaven Call Centre Main Building, North Shore Road, CA28 7XY. You will perform general cleaning duties and maintain high standards of cleanliness.

Qualifications

• General cleaning duties for communal areas as directed.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Empty bins and dispose waste properly.
• Restock supplies and materials as needed.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces and equipment.
• Report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow health and safety regulations.
• Uniform provided and training programs available.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning tasks across assigned areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of communal areas and offices.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop floors and dispose of waste.
• Report issues to supervisors promptly.
• Ensure supplies are replenished and maintained.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

We currently have a position available for a Cleaning Operative at United Utilities , Whitehaven Call Centre Main Building , North Shore Road , CA28 7XY

General cleaning to include (but not restricted to):

Clean and maintain communal areas as directed

Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors

Empty bins and ensure proper disposal of waste

Replenishment of supplies and material requirements

Dust and wipe down surfaces, including shelves and equipment

Report any maintenance or key operational issues

Follow all health and safety regulations

Ensure that a consistently high standard of service is delivered

Ensure all customer queries and complaints are dealt with in a timely and effective manner
