Job summary

The Floorbrite Group is recruiting a Cleaning Operative for Bluecoat School in Oldham. You will perform general cleaning duties, including emptying waste, dusting, and maintaining high cleanliness standards across communal areas. A DBS check is mandatory, and uniform is provided.

We value reliability and attention to detail, ensuring all tasks are completed to the required health and safety standards and that customer queries are handled promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

• Must pass an enhanced DBS check.
• Experience in general cleaning and maintaining cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain communal areas as directed.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Empty bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.
• Replenishment of supplies and material requirements.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, including shelves and equipment.
• Report any maintenance or key operational issues.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Ensure that a consistently high standard of service is delivered.
• Ensure all customer queries and complaints are dealt with in a timely and effective manner.

We are currently have a position available for a Cleaning Operative at Bluecoat School , Egerton Street , Oldham , OL1 3SQ

MUST PASS AN ENHANCED DBS CHECK

General cleaning to include (but not restricted to):

Clean and maintain communal areas as directed

Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors

Empty bins and ensure proper disposal of waste

Replenishment of supplies and material requirements

Dust and wipe down surfaces, including shelves and equipment

Report any maintenance or key operational issues

Follow all health and safety regulations

Ensure that a consistently high standard of service is delivered

Ensure all customer qSQueries and complaints are dealt with in a timely and effective manner
