Job summary

Class 1 Personnel is seeking a Cleaning Operative for our Sunderland clients. You will perform a range of cleaning tasks in busy facilities, focusing on hygiene and guest comfort, with you playing a hands-on role in daily site care.

The role requires reliability, good time management, and a basic command of English. You will follow safety rules and dress codes, and report faults or issues to the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning tasks such as rubbish removal, toilet cleaning, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming.
• Perform detailed cleaning and sanitise ablution facilities.
• Empty bins and clean seats; manage maintaining cleanliness of metal stair cases.
• Remove chewing gum from all areas.
• Report any faults and follow staff dress and behaviour codes.

We're looking for a talented Cleaning Operative to work for our clients based in Sunderland. They want to recruit someone with demonstrable background of previous experience in the field. If that's you then you could be exactly what they're looking for, even if you've got limited work experience.

Role Description

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning tasks include; picking up rubbish, toilet cleaning, detail cleaning, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, emptying bins, seat cleaning, washing metal stair cases, removing chewing gum from all areas and sanitising ablution facilities.
• Carryout any reasonable client cleaning requests
• Communicate all suspicious behaviour and potential security risks to your area supervisor as soon as possible
• All equipment is carefully used and maintained, and any faults reported.
• All staff are guest focused and have intimate knowledge of facilities and services.
• All dress and behaviour codes are followed, understood and adhered to.
• In order to satisfy the above, it is preferable of candidate to be fluent in English
