Job summary

Forza Foods Ltd in Sittingbourne is seeking a Hygienist to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will perform daily cleaning tasks in the washer area, ensure hygienic storage of chemicals, and help maintain food safety standards across the production lines.

Candidates should have factory experience, good teamwork, and a willingness to train. COSHH and Food Safety awareness are desirable; full training will be provided and a competitive benefits package offered.

About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Hygienist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a global business with a £2 billion + turnover.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Completing of all daily cleaning procedures as listed in washer area cleaning schedule


• Cleaning of 2 grader lanes each evening


• Ensure floor area and grids under washers are cleaned removing all potatoes


• Ensure all chemicals are used under COSHH regulations and all chemicals and equipment are stored neatly and hygienically in the correct storage cupboards


• Responsible for completing of all paperwork on a daily basis ,reporting any issues or damage found when cleaning to leaders

What are we looking for?

• Experience of working within a factory environment


• Previous hygiene experience is desirable


• Understanding of Health and Safety policies in the work place


• The ability to work quickly and methodically


• Good team working skills


• The ability to follow instructions


• Willing to take any training required for this role


• Food Safety Level 1 or equivalent - Desirable


• COSHH certification - Desirable
