Job summary

Vertas is hiring a Cleaning Operative at Brinsworth Academy in Rotherham. This part-time role covers early morning shifts, 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with DBS checks and the right to work in the UK.

You will clean toilets, wipe surfaces, and maintain hygiene across classrooms and communal areas while delivering a high standard of service in a school environment. Prior cleaning experience is helpful; independence and teamwork are valued.

About the Role:

Based at Brinsworth Academy, Rotherham, S60 5E, you will be working 12.5hours per week, Mon – Fri 5.45am - 8.15am, 39 weeks per year. You’ll play a key role in maintaining cleanliness to a high standard that meets our standards and delights our customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning toilets and washrooms
• Wiping down tables and surfaces
• General cleaning duties across classrooms & communal areas
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained
