Job summary

ABM is seeking a hardworking cleaner to join the Devonport Dockyard team in Plymouth. The role involves general cleaning of offices and welfare areas, with walking between buildings as required, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Hours are 7:30 to 15:30 on Saturdays and Sundays (7.5 hours per day) with a 30-minute unpaid break. A full uniform and essential PPE are provided, along with training and DBS check as applicable.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence or Current British Passport.
• Work alongside ABM team members.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• A customer-focused approach.
• A proactive/cando attitude to work.
• The ability to follow process/instructions from on daily tasks.
• DBS Check will be required.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of offices and welfare areas.
• Walk between buildings as required while cleaning.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment at all times.
• Dusting, vacuuming, cleaning washrooms and kitchens, litter picking, waste removal.
• Wear uniform and PPE at all times and follow safety directions.

SHIFT PATTERN: Saturday and Sunday, 15 hours per week

PAY RATE: £13.10 per hour

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

Yourdutieswillinvolvegeneral cleaningofoffice and welfareareas. Youwillbeworkinginsidemajorityofthe timebut walking from building to building will berequired. You willberesponsibleformaintainingacleanandsafeenvironment. Tasksinvolvebutarenot limited todusting, vacuuming,cleaning of washrooms and Kitchen areas,litterpickingandwasteremoval.Youwill beworkingwithotherABMTeam Members. Excellentattentiontodetail andreliability are essential.Trainingandfull uniformwill beprovided.You willbe requiredtowearyour uniform and allappropriatePPE(Personal Protective Equipment),at all times.FollowingallABM andClientsafety directions/ operationalrequirements.

The hours and shifts will be 7.5 hours per day, Saturday and Sunday. You will be entitled to a 30-minute unpaid break. Working hours will be 07:30hrs – 15:30hrs.
