PAY RATE: £13.15 per hour

As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring that designated areas are kept impeccably clean and presentable. This hands-on role requires you to follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines while contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Sanitize and maintain washrooms, kitchen areas, and communal spaces.
• Empty refuse bins and ensure waste is disposed of properly.
• Report maintenance issues or unsafe conditions to your supervisor.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Work as part of a team or independently, depending on site requirements.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a cleaning role is an advantage, but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Good physical fitness to carry out manual cleaning tasks.
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
