Summary

• Cleaner
• Location: London Stansted Airport
• Employment: Directly employed by MAG, the airport operator
• Contract: Permanent
• Hours: Full time, up to 42 hours/week (4 on 4 off)
• Shifts: Days 07:00 -19:00; Days & Nights 07:00 -19:00 & 19:00 -07:00
• Salary: Up to £13.24/hour depending on shift (includes shift pay)

The role

• Maintain cleanliness of the terminal and ensure excellent customer experience 24/7
• Deliver cleaning and waste clearance in assigned areas
• Respond courteously and promptly to customer needs
• Follow COSHH and health & safety regulations, report incidents
• Support wider cleaning activities, including litter picking, waste management, and maintenance
• Report faulty equipment promptly

Success factors

We seek enthusiastic team players with a positive attitude, familiar with cleaning chemicals and disposal methods. Experience in similar environments (hospitals, hotels, shopping centres, train stations) is required. Skills include:

• Ability to walk, bend, push, pull, and lift repeatedly
• Experience with heavy cleaning equipment
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Basic English for safety instructions and customer interaction
