Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Cleaning Operative for Churcher's College in Hampshire. The role is part-time, evenings, with 15 hours per week and a pay rate of £12.71 per hour. You will maintain high cleanliness standards, supervise a cleaning team, and ensure compliance with safety requirements.

What You Will Do

• Ensure the school is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Supervise and support the cleaning team to deliver an efficient and effective cleaning service.
• Monitor cleaning schedules and ensure all duties are completed to the required standard.
• Lead by example by maintaining a professional, positive, and customer-focused approach always.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, fire safety, and COSHH requirements.
• Communicate effectively with management, reporting any issues, incidents, or concerns promptly.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the school and wider team.
• Secure the premises as required and ensure all areas are safe and ready for use.
• Care for cleaning equipment, materials, and storage areas, ensuring they are maintained correctly.

This role involves sole working. As a result of the role's health and safety risk assessment and safeguarding requirements, the minimum age for this position is 18.
