ETL Systems Ltd is seeking a dedicated cleaner/janitorial operative for a 6-month fixed-term assignment at our Hereford facility. The role is based on a Monday to Friday schedule from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, with a minimum of 10 hours per week and a preference for 20 hours per week.

The on-site position requires BPSS compliance for eligibility. Responsibilities include cleaning offices and shared spaces, waste management, surface sanitising, and maintaining restock levels while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning/janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Clean all designated areas including offices and common spaces.
• Collect and dispose of rubbish and recyclables appropriately.
• Dust, mop, sweep, vacuum and sanitise floors and surfaces.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Restock cleaning supplies such as soap and toilet paper.
• Identify and report maintenance or repair needs to the Facilities Lead.
• Follow health and safety regulations and protocols.
• Perform other related duties to ensure site operations.

Role Overview

• Contract: This role is offered on a 6 months fixed-term basis.
• Shifts: Monday to Friday, 4:00pm to 8:00pm (no weekend work).
• Minimum commitment: 10 hours per week, with 20 hours per week preferred.

The Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work, attention to detail, a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and good time management skills.

Key Accountabilities

• General Cleaning: Thoroughly clean all areas, including offices, toilets, common areas, and other designated spaces.
• Waste Management: Collect and dispose of rubbish and recyclable materials appropriately.
• Surface Maintenance: Dust, mop, sweep, vacuum, and sanitise floors, carpets, and surfaces.
• Equipment Handling: Operate cleaning machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Restock Supplies: Monitor and replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies such as soap, towels, and toilet paper.
• Report Issues: Identify and report maintenance or repair needs to the Facilities Lead.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations and protocols.
• Additional Tasks: Perform other related duties to ensure the site's smooth operation.
