Job summary

Trinity Academy Cathedral is seeking a Cleaning Operative to join our friendly site team. The role focuses on general cleaning duties to maintain a clean, safe learning environment for students and staff.

You will work 16 hours per week during term time plus three days, with shifts Monday to Thursday 2:45pm–6:00pm and Friday 2:45pm–5:45pm. Health and safety training is provided and a DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working around children and young people.
• Able to perform physical cleaning tasks.
• Willing to undergo health and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties to keep the building clean and well maintained.
• Ensure the learning environment is tidy and safe for pupils and staff.
• Work as part of the site team under the Cleaning Manager and follow health and safety instructions.

We are now seeking a Cleaning Operative to join our friendly team.

The role of Cleaning Operative is part of our site team and provides vital support to ensure that the building is clean and well maintained. Your responsibilities will include general cleaning duties and ensuring the physical environment of the premises and grounds is satisfactory for learning.

Your duties will be directed by the Cleaning Manager and you will need to be comfortable working around children and young people. The work is of a physical nature and full health and safety training is provided.
