Job description

We are looking to recruit a Cleaning Operative for two static sites near Eastbourne, BN23.

Details:

• Monday - Friday (Monday, Wednesday & Friday on one site; Tuesday & Thursday on the other site)
• 9am - 11am
• 10 hours per week
• £12.21 per hour

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in a cleaning environment is essential
• IT literate (use of tablet, smartphone apps)
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English)

Core Responsibilities - Cleaning Operative / Cleaner:

• Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, handrails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors and frames
• Sweep floors with brushes or dust control mops
• Mop floors with wet or damp mops
• Vacuum carpeted areas
• Empty waste bins or similar receptacles, transport waste material to designated collection points
• Mix cleaning supplies in correct quantities for safe use
• Replenish consumable items (e.g., soap, toilet rolls, paper towels as per contractual obligations)
• Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins, and sinks
